All the time.&rdquo;&nbsp; (page 130)<br /><br />  I start this blog to chronicle my journey from hobbyist to vocational photographer.&nbsp; I cannot quit my day job right now &ndash; I have too many responsibilities, and debt. But I can take big steps toward my future &ndash; hindered only by self-doubt.&nbsp; <br /><br />  For my journey I need to pack:<br /><br />  1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A plan<br /><br />  2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Confidence<br /><br />  3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Humility<br /><br />  4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Time<br /><br />  5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dedication to craft<br /><br />  6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Desire to learn<br /><br />  Along the way I need to acquire:<br /><br />  1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A mentor (I have one &ndash; sort of)<br /><br />  2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A more serious mentor<br /><br />  3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Marketing skills<br /><br />  4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; More Confidence<br /><br />  5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; More Experience<br /><br />    My tools include:<br /><br />  1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The above mentioned <a href="http://www.amazon.com/VisionMongers-Making-Life-Living-Photography/dp/0321670205/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1325433004&amp;sr=8-1" title="">Vision Mongers</a><br /><br />  2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Scott Bourne and Skip Cohen&rsquo;s <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Going-Pro-Aspiring-Professional-Photographer/dp/0817435794/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1325433050&amp;sr=1-1" title="">Going Pro</a> and their <a href="http://goingpro2010.com/" title="">blog</a> by the same name<br /><br />  3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The inspiration of others through their websites and blogs that I will highlight as I go.<br /><br />  This is an invitation for others to join me and share their journey as well.</font><br /><br /></div>  ]]></content:encoded></item></channel></rss>
